THE CENTER FOR YOUTH WELLNESS
Client: The James Irvine Foundation
Production Company: Talking Eyes Media
Role: Editor
Led by Dr. Nadine Burke Harris and Susie Loftus, the Center for Youth Wellness was created to respond to an urgent public health issue: exposure to significant adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) harms the developing brains and bodies of children. The Center for Youth Wellness screens every young person to walk through its doors for experiences that have been shown to cause toxic stress and lifelong problems with health and learning. The center works to treat and prevent ACEs by raising awareness among those who can make a difference: from parents and pediatricians to policy makers.
