Woody's Chair Shop, located in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, has been producing hand-crafted rocking chairs and accessories for more than 200 years.

In the spring of 2010, the shop was in transition. Arval Woody, a member of the fifth generation of wood crafters, passed the business to his nephew, Scott Woody, a seventh-generation wood worker.
